Founded by Marvin Banks, a Chicago-bred House Music DJ, entrepreneur, and radio visionary with over 18 years behind the decks and 14+ years as a station owner, Z100 The Beat was built to be a respected home for House, Hip-Hop, R&B, Throwbacks, and Old School Urban sound.
After founding Banks LLC, launching Minnesota Hott Radio and Miami Hott Radio, and rising to President of RadioMGA.com, Marvin created Z100TheBeat.com as a platform where the culture is honored, the music stays authentic, and the legacy lives on. The city's rhythm has always been in his blood — and he never left the culture behind.
